Rad People Portraits (a.k.a. RPP)

A few weeks ago I came up with the idea to basically start taking portraits of anyone I think is cool (for whever reason it may be), so I came up with RPP, or Rad People Portraits as a name for it. You'll see some unfamiliar faces but also some more recognizable ones, this won't be consistent so it will just happen when it happens. I'm trying to figure out the exact style I want these photos to have as an end result, but I do know I'll have two basic outdoor set ups using natural light, and one indoor setup using What I've dub the HD method. For now most images will end up being black & white, I'll play with color later down the road. No matter how I take the shots, the end results should always be fun.

Same Shoes Different Lace

I loved his style here, polo shirt, bow tie, It was very unique and consist to what I'm guessing is his style uniform. What I liked even more, instead of packing five different pairs of shoes, he just swapped out his shoe laces to match the color of his outfit. Pretty nifty.

Red Carpet... Charleston Fashion Week

Vanessa Lachey, looking absolutely stunning (and pregnant) while in Charleston. I thought Nick Lachey might have passed on the trip down South, but Vanessa told me that he was just hanging out at the B&B they were put up in while she got her glam on. She was quite the beauty and very easy to talk to.

(From left to right) Fern Mallis - creator of New York fashion week, Cameron Silver - Co-owner of DECADES Vintage boutique in LA & NYC, Anne Slowey - Fashion News editor at ELLE Magazine.

NBC's "Fashion Stars" designers,Nikki Poulos, Sarah Parrott, and Luciana Scarabello.

Charleston Fashion Week... "Personal Style Defined."

I see a lot of different personal styles out there, this is probably one of my favorite senses of individualism I've seen in a while. He just wasn't trying, that's personal style to a 'T'.

Wardrobe Multitasking

I'm not sure if you can tell, but he is wearing the same coat and shoes in both photos taken on different days. Point here: you don't need a massive wardrobe to pull off completely different looks, just change a few key items. Well done Sir.

Battle of the Beauty's

So no loss of style point for Mike here, he was quite the dapper gent. However Caroline (middle), and Jess (right) were just stunning young ladies. The fact they were together quite often during CFW made them one stunning duo, trio if we not forget Mike.
